Boyd "Doc" Slater

August 1, 1938 – April 26, 2011

A thousand times we needed you,
A thousand times we cried,
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.

A heart of gold stopped beating,
Two sparkling eyes closed to rest,
God broke our hearts to prove
He only took the best.

Never a day goes by,
That you’re not in our
hearts and souls.

We love and miss you
so much.

You served proudly. Gone but not forgotten. We will always remember you. Loved and missed. You are irreplaceable!

Randolph S. Brown

July 17, 1940 – March 2, 2013

Randolph S. Brown was a loving and caring husband, father, pop-pop, educator and friend. He had a passion for collecting and rebuilding antique cars. Randolph was always willing to share stories about his life growing up on his family’s farm in Franklin, VA. My husband is gone, but he is not forgotten. We will forever cherish all of the wonderful memories of Ralph S. Brown.

You never met a stranger! Through all your trials, you were always positive. The light of the day. You called or visited daily the sick and shut-in. You loved church, family, fishing and NASCAR. Your smile and laugh will always be remembered. You live in others.

Brandon Angelo Via

May 1, 1987 – December 10, 2009

This picture of my son depicts a wonderful young man who left this world to soon. In his departure through his organ donation he saved the lives of four individuals. Brandon is a very giving, responsible, loving person….though he left many broken hearts behind. A son, brother, grandson and friend, we miss him dearly.
