Virginia Beach, Va. (July 27, 2023) — LifeNet Health has earned the Top Employer for Interns Award for the second year in a row.

This designation from the Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership (V-TOP) and 757 Regional Internship Collaborative, Region 5, is intended to help solidify Virginia as a top state for education, talent, and business.

LifeNet Health's 10-week internship is centered on the three pillars of meaningful work, collaboration, and networking opportunities — within a unique setting as the only organization in the world that enables organ transplantation, allograft tissue implants, and cell-based research. Every intern is assigned to work on developing a meaningful project to pave the way for new initiatives or improvements in processes at this leading global biotechnology and regenerative medicine company.

Training is provided to support each person along the way, with topics as diverse as presentation skills to self-awareness to communication. Interns develop interpersonal skills along with clinical and technical know-how.
