Tissue Development Newsletter Concept
Tissue donation would not be possible without the final act of generosity and kindness of donors and the support of their families. The decision to donate, whether made by the donor or their family, was done in hope of helping others in need.
Most families never learn the difference their gifts have made to the recipients-LifeNet Health wants to change that.
A Very Special Meeting
Madison Beaver, a LifeNet Health donor daughter, listens to heart transplant recipient Princess Daughtry’s heartbeat for the first time as Madison’s mother, Lisa Alderman, looks on. Darrick Beaver, Madison’s father, was Princess’ heart donor following his death in 2003. LifeNet Health coordinated the families’ meeting in 2009.
LifeNet Health coordinates and sponsors these family meetings by mutual agreement.
